“Bolashak”

 

Aigerim Uttegenova, an assistant at the Department of Neurology at Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University, is undergoing a clinical internship under the “Bolashak” program at the Neurology Department of King’s College Hospital in London. This clinical internship for neurologists at King’s College Hospital aims to enhance practical knowledge and skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological disorders. During the internship, doctors have the opportunity to work alongside an international team of specialists, participate in the management of complex clinical cases, and master advanced neuroimaging and neurophysiology techniques.



Kurmanalina Madina, Head of the Department of Therapeutic and Orthopedic Dentistry, is undergoing a scientific internship as part of the «500 Scientists» program at the «University of Central Lancashire (UCLan)» in the UK, specifically at the “School of Medicine and Dentistry”. This program has provided her with a unique opportunity to deeply study modern methods in dental treatment and scientific research at an advanced level, as well as to participate in research projects, including work in the field of biomedical sciences and technologies. The University of Central Lancashire, located in “Preston”, is one of the largest universities in the UK. It is known for its active international collaboration and high-quality education. UCLan is ranked among the top 800 universities in the world according to “Times Higher Education”. The University attracts students from more than 100 countries and cooperates with 125 international educational institutions.



Aynur Shukirgalieva Darmenkulova – a lecturer at the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines, is participating in the international program “Bolashak” for scientific internship “500 Scientists” at the University of Reading, United Kingdom. The university ranks among the top 30 best universities in the UK for its multidisciplinary educational institutions and research opportunities. The young scientist is engaged in studying management in the field of education management in the UK and the application of artificial intelligence in the educational activities of university students. She intends to utilize the experience gained abroad for the benefit of the country.

 



Baglan Satybalduuly Kemelbekov– a doctoral student at the Department of Normal Physiology. He is undergoing an internship through the “Bolashak” program from April 1, 2024, to June 29, 2024, in Kaunas, Lithuania, at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Institute of Cardiology, Department of Arrhythmology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. Specializing in Cardiology, Arrhythmology, and Interventional Cardiology (T86), he is engaged in studying biotechnological treatment methods for patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy. During the internship, he has authored two scientific articles and one abstract for an international conference.

 

 



Aizada Aikhanovna Sarina – is a senior research fellow at the Morphological Laboratory and a lecturer at the Department of Histology. As part of the international Bolashak program, she is undergoing a “500 Scientists” research internship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. The university ranks 28th in the Academic Ranking of World Universities and 2nd in clinical medicine and pharmacy. In the 2023–2024 US News & World Report ranking of the best colleges in America, the University of Illinois is 12th among public universities and 35th among national universities.

The young scientist is interning in the fields of pedagogy, educational research, and innovations and trends in higher education. The program includes developing strategies for online teaching and learning, and research and development of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses).

She plans to contribute by using her international experience for the benefit of her country.
