2. According to the long-term plan and KPI of the Department of Pediatric Surgery, the “Visiting” program was planned and implemented for 2023. Professor Natalya Aleksandrovna Tsap – MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Ural State Medical University” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Yekaterinburg, Russia, was invited.
Professor Tsap N.A. is a highly qualified specialist in pediatric surgery, the chief pediatric surgeon of the Svedlovsk region of the Russian Federation, and also a great authority in the international academic community. She has 6 articles in journals indexed by Scopus, the H-index in the RSCI is 7, Scopus is 2.
The “Visiting” program took place during the period October 16 – October 20, 2023 at the Department of Pediatric Surgery of the West Kazakhstan Medical University (head of the department – Tusupkaliev A.B.) on the basis of the Multidisciplinary Regional Children’s Hospital of Aktobe (chief physician Dzhapakhov E.S.).

From October 16 to 20, at the Department of Children’s Diseases No. 2, under the “Visiting-professor” program, online classes were taught by the professor of the National Medical Research Center for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology. 4. From October 23 to October 27, 2023, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology of Tbilisi State Medical University G. Kiliptary was invited to the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation as part of the Visiting professors program. She conducted training events (lectures, practical classes for residents of anesthesiology and resuscitation) in an online format on the ZOOM platform.
