Dear students!

In connection with the request from students received at West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University regarding delays in the payment of scholarships, we explain the following for everyone’s understanding.

By the decision of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Financial Center JSC became the operator for the transfer of scholarships for all universities in the country from the February 2023-2024 academic year. In turn, the higher education institution provides information about the progress and status of students through the EPVO (Unified Platform for Higher Education). The financial center compares and verifies the specified information with university databases. After a complete comparison, the information system automatically calculates the scholarship amount and then sends it to second-tier banks to transfer funds to students. The new system ensures transparency of the funds allocated by the state each year for both scholarships and training in higher education institutions by transferring funds directly to students. In addition, the positive side of changing the system will be the possibility of uninterrupted payment of scholarships to students who share with another university while maintaining the grant.

We remind you that scholarships for February must be received from the 26th of the current month to the 6th of the next. There is no reason to worry.
