Academic mobility at Azerbaijan medical university

From April 15 to April 19, 2024 year, by the framework of the external academic mobility program, the head of the department of medical and biological chemistry Zh.Zh.Gumarova gave a series of lectures at the department of biological chemistry and at the department of pharmaceutical toxicology and chemistry of the Azerbaijan Medical University, attended open lectures of colleagues in Azerbaijani and Russian and English languages.

Issues and prospects for collaboration in the educational and scientific work of employees and students of the departments were discussed with the head of the department of pharmaceutical toxicology and chemistry, professor E.A.Garayev, the head of the department of biochemistry, professor G.I.Azizova, and the head of the department of pharmaceutical chemistry, professor T.S.Suleimenov.

The head of the department of West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov, associate professor Zh.Zh.Gumarova and the head of the department of drug technology of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, professor B.A.Sagindykova, were received by the vice-rector for scientific work, professor R.O.Baylarov and the director of the department of international relations, associate professor M.T.Orudzhev.

At the meeting, the prospects for further cooperation in the scientific work of teaching staff and students of departments of Kazakh universities with the corresponding departments of the Azerbaijan Medical University were also discussed.
