Representation of residency specialties

The Dean of Postgraduate Education of the West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov, under the leadership of Dean Nurgalieva Roza Ergaleevna, organized an event to present residency specialties to 7th year interns. The event was held over 3 days on April 17, 18 and 22, 2024.

On the first day, 13 therapeutic residency specialties were presented, on the second day – 11 surgical specialties, and on the third day – 23 new residency specialties. New educational residency programs began to be implemented in the 2023-2024 academic year.

Heads of departments and teaching staff presented residency specialties implemented in their departments.The presentations reflected: specialty, teaching staff, duration of study, disciplines, clinical sites, data on the development of practical skills, data on the implementation of research work, employment, as well as professional career growth of residents.

Interns received comprehensive answers to their questions.
