Science Week dedicated to the anniversary of the university and the department!

From April 18 to April 22, Science Week dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the university and the department of Natural Sciences disciplines was held. Within the framework of the week of science, a scientific and practical student mini-conference and a traditional trilingual subject Olympiad on “Information and Communication Technologies”, “Medical Biophysics”, “Biostatistics” were held. At the student mini-conference, the works which presented to the International Scientific Conference were heard. The teachers commented on the reports and made suggestions.

The traditional trilingual subject Olympiad was attended by 85 students of 1-4 courses of the faculties “General Medicine”, “Public Health”, “Dentistry”, “Nursing”, “Pharmacy”. The purpose of the Olympiad was to increase students’ interest in education and science, to acquaint them with modern scientific discoveries. The Olympiad consisted of several rounds depending on the specifics of the disciplines: “Information and Communication Technologies”, “Biostatistics”, performed situational reports in the applications of the Google Drive cloud service, and in “Medical Biophysics” solved physical problems. Given the interest and activity of students, we can say that the subject Olympiad has achieved its goal.

 At the award ceremony of the Science Week, the students who won prizes at the Olympiad and the activists of the Week were awarded by diplomas. In turn, the students noted that the Olympiad was very interesting and informative and thanked the organizers.
