Head of the Department

Koldasbayeva Bagila Dzhumabaevna – Master of Pedagogical Sciences. He has been working at the department since 2012. Graduated from Aktobe State University named after K.Zhubanov. 02/10/2024 defended her doctoral dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy PhD in the specialty «Physical culture and sports». 5 In the journal included in the Scopus 5, 9 In journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the field of science and higher education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 16 publications and presentations at international conferences.

Personnel structure

Currently, 17 teachers work at the department, including 1 candidate of pedagogical Sciences, 2 associate professors (associate professor), 6 senior teachers, 13 masters, 1 Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Bobyreva Marina Mikhailovna – PhD, Associate Professor (Associate Professor), has been working since 2002, is a coach in the cheerleading sports improvement group.

Kanapina Roza Birzhanova – Master of Pedagogical Sciences, senior lecturer, responsible for the preparation of the CIS, has been working at the department since 2003. She is a coach of the sports section of chess.

Zhetimekov Yerkin Tlekovich – Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor (Associate Professor), Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has been working at the department since 2002.

Dema Elena Vladimirovna – Master of Pedagogical Sciences, senior lecturer has been working at the department since 2004. She is responsible for educational work at the department, a ski racing coach.

Yerlan Zholamanovich Shalginbayev is the head of the sports club “Sunkar”, a teacher, has been working at the department since 2001, is the coach of the mini-football sports improvement group.

Mirlan Sakenovich Nauanov is a teacher, has been working at the department since 2009, is a coach in kettlebell lifting and arm wrestling (boys).

Bisengaliev Saktapbergen Ualievich – Master of Pedagogical Sciences, senior lecturer, has been working at the department since 2008, is a volleyball coach (girls).

Galikhan Zhumazhanovich Aitzhanov is a teacher, has been working at the department since 2001, candidate for Master of Sports of the USSR, is a freestyle wrestling coach (boys).

Yelubaev Kenzhebek Yelubaevich – Master of Pedagogical Sciences, teacher, has been working at the department since 2012, basketball coach (boys).

Bakytuly Bolatbek is a Master of Pedagogical Sciences, senior lecturer, has been working at the department since 2011, is a coach of the freestyle wrestling section.

Duanbekov Asylkhan Amirkhanovich – Master of Pedagogical Sciences, teacher, candidate for Master of Sports, has been working at the department since 2011, is a coach in togyz kumalak.

Tamara Vladimirovna Pak – Master of Pedagogical Sciences, teacher, has been working at the department since 2009.

Moldagazina Nursulu Aitmukhambetovna – Master of Pedagogical Sciences, teacher, has been working at the department since 2011, is a taekwon-do coach.

Baitasov Azamat Mukanbetkalievich – Master of Pedagogical Sciences, teacher, has been working at the department since 2012, is a coach in kettlebell lifting and arm wrestling (girls).

History of creation

The Department of Physical Education was established in 1959 and the first head of the department was Nikolai Semenovich Li, who worked in this position from 1959 to 1975.

From 1968 to 1975, Anvar Saparovich Kitarov worked as a senior lecturer at the department, and from 1975 to 1980 he was head of the department.

From 1980 to 1984, the head of the department was Veniamin Nikanorovich Peregudov.

From 1970 to 1984, J.A. Aipeisov worked at the department as a senior lecturer. Subsequently, he became the head of the department.

Despite the fact that there was one gym, students actively engaged in sports. There were sections of basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, athletics, wrestling and other sports.

In 1971, the Department of Physical Education moved to a new building, the military sports building, and received a hall, and then with the introduction of two theoretical buildings, two more gyms and a stadium.

From July 2017 to October 2023, the head of the Department of Physical Education was Jetimekov Yerkin Tlekovich.

Goal

The formation of students’ socio-personal competencies and the ability to purposefully use the means and methods of physical culture that ensure the preservation and strengthening of health in preparation for professional activity; to withstand physical exertion, neuropsychic stresses and adverse factors in future work.

Activity

The functional responsibilities of the department include conducting educational and practical classes with students of the educational programs «Medicine», «Dentistry», «Public Health», «Pharmacy», «Nursing», «Pediatrics», «Medical and preventive care» in physical education, where the topics are provided: athletics, sports games (basketball, volleyball, badminton), ski training, rhythmic gymnastics. According to the plan of educational work, teachers of the department conduct conversations with students aimed at forming students’ motivation for a healthy lifestyle and wellness, as well as in order to attract students to regular physical education and sports.

ZKMU named after Marat Ospanov has a modern sports base, which includes:

– The Zhastar Arena Sports Complex, where practical physical education classes are held, as well as various intra-university sports events.

– – 3 gaming gyms (UK1, UK2, VSK);

– 1 small gym;

– gym with exercise equipment, a platform for weightlifting;

– ski base.

 

Progress

Since the foundation of the sports club, 2 masters of sports of international class, 10 masters of sports, 20 candidates for masters of sports, 32 students of the 1st sports category have been trained. The staff of the department has repeatedly received letters of thanks from various departments.
