What is lifelong learning?

Continuing education is a process of increasing the educational potential of a person throughout his life, determined by the progress of science and technology, and the widespread use of innovative technologies.

Structure of continuing education: Lifelong learning. Not only professional, but also other necessary interesting activities, intellectual development, the need to constantly update one’s skills and abilities in order to increase one’s level of education and gain a competitive position in the labor market.

Continuing professional education. The need to learn while constantly improving knowledge and skills increases competence by choosing what and where to learn – at work or outside of work.

Education for adults. Such education aims to give every person the opportunity to realize their potential, regardless of age, place, time and other circumstances. The main meaning of education is to create opportunities to acquire the necessary qualifications throughout the entire working life, develop basic competencies and increase functional literacy, to ensure personal growth and self-realization of various categories.
