History of creation

The Department of Dental Internship and Postgraduate Education is organized by the Rector’s Order No.12/4-1-17/484/1 From 01.09.2016. Since 08/31/2017, the department has been headed by Associate Professor Uraz Rice Mukhadeskyzy. The department employs 1 professors, 2 candidates of medical sciences, 1 PhD, 2 masters, 9 dentists of the highest qualification category, 3 dentists of the First qualification category, 2 dentists of the Second qualification category.

Objectives

Qualitative improvement of the organization of research and educational work.

Training of specialists with a high level of human and professional competencies, competitive in the domestic and international labor market, ready to adapt to the rapidly changing conditions of the dental industry by continuously improving competence and developing creative initiative.

Activities

The department trains interns of the sixth year of the specialty “Stomatology” and the dental residency in “Orthodontics” and ” Ortopedical stomatology” Doctors-interns and residents under the guidance of teachers conduct treatment of patients, also they are engaged in dental hygiene-educational work.

The main directions of the research work of the Department are the actual issues of restorative dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. Planning to implement a scientific project on the topic of ” Conditions of dentition system in the adult population with partial absence of teeth.” There is a section of young scientists at the department.

Achievements

Employees of the Department had published more than 140 works in scientific journals and collections. More than 5 teaching aids have been issued. They annually participate with reports at the Republican and International scientific-practical conferences. 7 master’s theses had been defended on the specialty “Medicine”. 1 doctoral student and 1 master student are studying in the Department. 1st year PhD doctoral student is undergoing training Askarova A.A.
