IV International student festival “GXP-FEST 2024”

From February 1 to April 19, the IV International Student Festival “GxP-Fest 2024” was held in Moscow by the Eurasian Academy of Good Practices with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Commission. Students and teachers of specialized higher education institutions of the Russian Federation and EAEU countries, representatives of Russian and foreign regulators, pharmaceutical companies, as well as experts in the field of professional education gathered on one square. The competition consisted of 2 stages: the qualifying stage (“GxP-Battle” March 14 online) and the final stage (“GxP-Quest” April 19 in person in Moscow).

From the University was a team “Erudites”, which included students of 4th year Daria Anarbekova, Sabina Azhgalieva, Gulbanu Bakytzhan and a student of 5th year Aktoty Bukenbaeva of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The team “Erudites” showed high results in the qualifying round and was invited to the final round in Moscow.

The final day of “GxP-Fest 2024” was held on April 19 in Moscow on the site “Red October”. A large number of events took place. “GxP-Quest” and presentation of the best projects of the student project hackathon “Digital Pharma of the Future”. Leading pharmaceutical companies held a series of master classes for students, as well as introduced internship programs and employment opportunities.

One of the highlights of the event was an open dialog between regulators, leading pharmaceutical experts and talented students and faculty of higher education institutions. Participants had the opportunity to ask personal questions to representatives of regulatory authorities, industry experts and top managers of well-known pharmaceutical companies. Open dialogue allows to find common ground, attract the attention of students to the development of the pharmaceutical industry, universities to improve educational programs in accordance with the modern needs of the actively developing industry.

In general, the event was organized at a high level and left many positive impressions both among the student audience and specialists in the field of pharmaceuticals. This event emphasizes the importance of international cooperation in the field of education and science. We would like to note that the festival was held in one breath and provided students with exclusive opportunities for new acquaintances, communication and exchange of experience.
