From 1992 to 2001 worked as a senior laboratory assistant, assistant of the department.

From 2002 to 2013, he was a pathologist, then head of the infectious diseases department of the RPBuro, combining work at the department.

He consults with the teaching staff on autopsy, surgical and biopsy materials, combines clinical work in the RPB bureau and mentoring residents, conducts expertise in cases of maternal mortality.

He is the author of 82 scientific papers, 1 monograph, 3 acts of implementation in the educational process, 2 in clinical work, 2 textbooks, 8 author’s certificates. He graduated from 1 Master’s degree. Participates in scientific and technical projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Member of the scientific and academic council, member of “Termincom”.

Research areas: morphology, oncology.

The history of the department.

The department of pathological anatomy at the Aktobe State Medical Institute was opened in the summer of 1959 by order of the Ministry of Health of the USSR. The first

head and organizer of the department was a graduate of the Almaty State

Medical Institute (1953) — V.A. Yaglinsky, who headed the department from 1959 to 1971.

Heads of the department in subsequent years: Shabanov A.M. (1971-1975); Kornitsky M.A. (1976-1982); Akhmetkaliev S.G. (1982-1999); Kismanova G.N. (1999-2008); Vlasova L.N. (2008-2015). Since 2015, the department has been headed by a graduate of Aktobe Medical Institute (1991), candidate of medical sciences, associate professor – Kaliev Abdiraman Rsalievich.

Purpose: Organization and implementation of educational, methodological and educational work in accordance with the curricula, training of scientific, pedagogical, clinical personnel within the framework of residency, master’s and doctoral programs, as well as professional development through training seminars, master classes, cycles.

Development and implementation of innovative technologies in the educational process.

Training of highly specialized personnel.

Development and strengthening of international relations and business partnerships with foreign higher education institutions and international educational organizations.

Activity:

The activities of the department of pathological anatomy and forensic medicine are focused on 3 main areas: educational, scientific and educational.

Classes at the department are held in the following specialties: general medicine, military medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, International Faculty, clinical pathomorphology, pathological anatomy, cytopathology (adult, children).

The department also trains specialists in the educational programs of residency, master’s degree and PhD doctoral studies.

Currently, the department employs 2 candidates of medical sciences, 2 associate professors, 1 undergraduate, 1 doctoral student. The degree of settlement is 50% among full-time teachers. As part of the research work of the department, 1 employee is studying for a doctoral degree. Every year, teaching staff take advanced training courses in their specialty, innovative teaching methods, and foreign language acquisition.

The staff of the department actively participates in the life of the University, in all activities related to the educational, scientific and educational process. Professors of the department are involved in public organizations, working groups, Councils and Committees.

An autopsy room was opened in the morphological building, where the teaching staff of the department conduct autopsies of the deceased at the MC of the Marat Ospanov State Medical University. The autopsy room provides an opportunity to demonstrate autopsy techniques, macropreparations to students, etc.

Achievments:

In 2023, a modular residency training program “Pathological Anatomy and Cytopathology (adult, children’s)” was developed. Currently, 2 residents are studying under this program.

The department actively implements international cooperation in educational and scientific areas with medical universities of the far and near abroad. The department annually implements the program “Academic mobility of teaching staff”, “visiting professor”.

The teaching of pathological anatomy was also improved, and a computer class was created for 3D modeling of organ pathology. Access to syllabuses, materials for preparing for practical skills are posted in the telegram channel of the department, which are available by QR code.

Since the first years of the department’s foundation, the student scientific circle “Pathomorphologist” has been functioning, whose members participate in student scientific and practical conferences of various levels, in student scientific projects. In 2019y “Pathomorphologist” SSC received the title of the best university club.
